Nissaki

Nissaki is a small fishing village that used to be the main seaport in the area and the key point of access and transport until the mid-20th century, when access via the island’s internal road network was still difficult. Near the picturesque harbour, the well-organised beach offers moments of pleasure and relaxation.

The ground morphology, with the downhill palisades, full of olive trees, reaching the beautiful and crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea, has turned the area into one of the most advanced and developed tourist resorts.

Small, romantic beaches invite one to take a little trip on a rented boat. Caïques are available to take you to beaches inaccessible by car or offer you an unforgettable one-day excursion to the Diapontian Islands, Paxi or the historic city of Vouthroto (Albanian: Butrint; Latin: Buthrotum) in Albania - you are guaranteed to have the experience of a lifetime.
